FAA PART 145 REPAIR STATION QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER – AVIATION - US
We have an opportunity to work for the premier provider of on-wing gas turbine aero engine washes throughout the globe. EcoServices, LLC, a joint venture of ST Engineering North America and Pratt & Whitney Line Maintenance Services, Inc. (www.ecopower.aero), is seeking candidates for one (1) open full-time Quality Assurance Engineer.
This position is located in Irving, TX and the qualified candidate will report directly to the Director of Quality Assurance. We are looking for a self-driven individual contributor requiring with minimal direction, able to make strategic decisions under pressure focusing on these primary responsibilities at EcoServices, LLC:
Essential Functions:
- Primary responsibilities will include coordination with the Part 145 Repair Station Chief Inspector and managing compliance with the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and the approved Training program.
- Own the calibration program, including coordination of shipping and tracking all calibrated instruments used by EcoServices, LLC and its affiliates located worldwide.
- Lead overall auditing program including following up with Corrective Action requirements as necessary.
- Administer training records
- Assist with the inspection of repair station records for compliance with the FAA approved quality system. Manage and ensure completeness of all records that require revisions due to deficiencies noted.
- Assist with FAA and customer surveillance audits when requested. Complete all necessary corrective action requests and provide feedback to the auditor within the deadline noted in the discrepancy report.
Abilities:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in performing internal audits and participating in external audits.
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Detail oriented and strong computer skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint/Word/SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat
- Database management, including calibration and training databases
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends
- Estimated business travel is approximately 10%.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- Engineering (Preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial aviation experience
- Experience with FAA Part 145 environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with quality, calibration, or training databases
- Auditing: 3 years (C.A.S.E. standards preferred)
- Quality Assurance: 3 years (Aviation preferred)
- Aviation Training: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- FAA Part 65 Aviation Airframe & Powerplant Certification (Preferred)
- US Driver's License (Required)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certificate or similar type (Preferred)
- This position may require participation in the FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
- You must not be barred from entering US military facilities or banned from receiving a SIDA badge or working flightline for any of our commercial customers.

This is a salaried exempt position. Compensation is based on experience and work demands.
