ST Engineering Aerospace is located at Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. We meet our customers' requirements by providing a full spectrum of high-quality, reliable, and timely AMM and engineering solutions. We have the know-how and experience to comprehensively manage complex projects, ensuring our customers' aircraft operate safely and efficiently.

 

What YOU will do: 

The Account Manager will be directly responsible to the Director, Marketing and Sales, for the following functions

 

In This Role YOU will: 

  1. Build business relationships and seek additional opportunities with the assigned customer accounts.
  2. Prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for assigned customer accounts and opportunities. Lead and coordinate the development, review, and approval (as required) for responses, and work closely with internal functions, including Estimating, Planning, Quality, and Production, to ensure complete and on-time submission to customers. Liaise with customers to obtain information and clarification about requests. Work with sister business units/facilities on joint responses.  Present proposals to customers.
  3. Prepare contracts, contract addendums, exhibits and other agreements for assigned customer accounts, and work with company or group counsel on contractual terms. Lead or participate in the negotiation of these activities.
  4. Brief contractual terms and act as the contract resource for internal stakeholders.  Work with company departments and customer representatives to onboard new customers, projects or programs. Verify and report compliance with contractual terms. 
  5. Administer customer contracts, warranty claims, and credit requests.
  6. Ensure that the customers are billed in accordance with the terms of the contract and provide Finance assistance in the settlement of payments.
  7. Work closely with customers to resolve any issues that arise and address escalated customer concerns.
  8. Organize, gather review materials, and work closely with customer and internal stakeholders to develop presentations for customer review meetings.
  9. Provide customer service to assigned customers.
  10.  Coordinate with Planning to maintain hangar plans and sales forecasts.  Prepare periodic reports on sales and contracting activities for assigned customer accounts.
  11. Support marketing activities of the Commercial Aerospace group as required including attending customer visits and trade shows.
  12. Coordinate and attend facility visits, and customer-related events for assigned customer accounts.
  13. Other duties as directed from time to time by Director, Marketing and Sales

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Good working knowledge or the ability to acquire skills in the following:

  1. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees, and customers.
  2. The ability to communicate ideas effectively, both orally and in writing. Good writing skills are imperative.
  3. Familiarity with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.  Experience with Salesforce is preferred.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

General office environment with occasional industrial non-climate-controlled environment.

 

SUPERVISION:

The incumbent normally performs the duty assignment at his or her discretion and is limited only by policies set by administrative or legislative authority.  Total end results determine the effectiveness of job performance.

 

INTERPERSONAL ENVIORMENT:

A strong level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship among employees, various departments, management and customers.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

 Essential responsibilities are performed in a climate-controlled office but not limited to the office.  Must be able to cope with stress and mental exhaustion due to the pressures of accomplishing set goals, meeting short deadlines, maintaining numerous projects simultaneously, and long work hours if required.

  

What YOU Need:      

  • BS degree in Business or related field is required; However, a combination of education and technical experience may be considered in lieu of a BS degree.
  • 3-4 years related experience in business, marketing/sales, customer service, and/or aircraft maintenance.
