ST Engineering Aerospace is located at Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. What YOU Will Do:
The Finance Business Partner, Lead Analyst spearheads the management of our accounting and finance functions, ensuring meticulous control monitoring, interpreting financial data, and averting any unforeseen challenges to support the activities of the Company.
- Financial Reporting: Manage and monitor all day-to-day financial processes. Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L, balance sheets, and other statements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards. Manage month, quarterly and year-end closing.
- Revenue: Ensure appropriate revenue recognition and recording.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Perform regular Balance sheet review to ensure accuracy.
- Contact Point for Shared Services PTP and FR in Singapore
- Net Working Capital Management: Perform analysis to manage net working capital.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with the operations team to optimize inventory turnover rates. Ensure provision for stock obsolescence is appropriately recorded.
- Financial Processes and Controls: Establish and maintain financial processes and internal controls to safeguard company assets and conduct reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Ensure compliance with Group policies, IFRS, US GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Custodian and documentation of finance processes, procedures, policies and manuals; be well versed in the Group/company’s corporate governance guidelines and ensure relevant policies are rolled out and followed through.
- Capital Investment & Fixed Assets Management: Ensure fixed assets register is maintained and capital procurement process is followed.
- Tax: Liaise with external tax agents to file returns in accordance with federal, state and local tax laws.
- Audit: Coordinate with external auditors for year-end financial audit. Coordinate with internal auditors for internal audits.
- Financial Systems and Data Management: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of financial management software. Ensure systems are efficient, accurate, and meet the needs of the business.
- People Developer: Lead, coach and develop Finance staff in proper procedure, methods and practices to enable career progression and growth.
What YOU Need:
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting is required. CPA preferred.
- 5 to 10 years finance and accounting experience required.
- Possess business acumen, superior operational orientation and analytical skills.
- Strong technology skills a must (Excel and Database tools); with hands-on experience with SAP and Hyperion.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles and practices.
- Demonstrates initiative, proactive, hands-on and a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
