ST Engineering Aerospace is located in Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. What YOU will do:  

Responsible for Leading the Logistics Specialist team. This is a working lead position.

 

In This Role YOU will: 

  1. Heavy Data Entry 
  2. Coordinate with production on requisitions such as:

 

a. Verifying part number (s) being ordered is effective for aircraft

b. Verifying job numbers on requisition is correct

c. Verifying each requisition has a Non-routine, Routine, Engineering Authorization, Customer     Task Card or equivalent attached.

d. Entering new part numbers in the Master Part Number File under the correct p/n and help clean up any discrepancies found in Master Parts file.

  1. Change part numbers on requisitions when alternates are found by Buyer and approved by production.
  2. Add notes to all lines on Status Report for assigned Aircraft, plus add Customer notes and shipping information. This includes updates from customers.
  3. Coordinate with vendors and/or Buyers to acquire shipping information for all parts ordered by PNA.
  4. Work with Receiving Inspection and Customers to clear up any rejected and quarantined parts, resolve issues with customer PO’s, and assist with urgent item entries
  5.  Notify Receiving, Inspection, and Warehouse, of all inbound hot parts.
  6.  Attend all Pre-dock meetings on assigned aircraft and all other meetings required   
  7.  Work with the Customer’s Material Rep and lock-up Lead on Customer supplied material.
  8.  Work with Production daily to maintain correct information on Status 

Reports.

  1.   Leave turnovers, at the end of each shift, for Night and Weekend personnel.  
  2.   Maintain Aircraft in House List.
  3.   Run daily Status Reports for Customer and Buyers.
  4.   Deliver reports to all users.
  5.   Continually track and monitor open req’s and purchase orders.
  6.   Track and update MSR’s with accurate delivery information.
  7.   Order and track customer supplied material through the customers’ system.

16.   Perform other assigned duties as required by management.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Strong data entry skills are required.  Must be highly organized and a self-starter.  Must be able to cope with high stress situations and have great people skills.  Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft word is a plus.  Flexibility in the everyday work schedule is a must to accommodate each Customer’s needs.

 

SUPERVISION:

Under direction. Normally performs duties according to his or her own judgement requesting supervisory assistance only when necessary.

 A strong level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship among employees, various departments, and management.


PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

Essential responsibilities are performed in a climate-controlled office but not limited to the office; employees must be able to walk and climb stairs throughout the day. Employees must be able to cope with stress, mental exhaustion, due to the pressures of accomplishing set goals, meeting short deadlines, and maintaining numerous projects simultaneously.

 

What YOU Need:

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Minimum 2 years combined warehouse, inventory control, logistics, and customer operations experience.  Demonstrated leadership skills as well as high proficiency in interpersonal and communications skills required.
