OBJECTIVE:

The Senior Accountant shall be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, corporate reporting, timely month-end closure,

account analysis as well as other areas assigned by Finance Manager and/or Financial Controller.

What YOU will do:

a) Balance Sheet reviews & reconciliations

b) Inventory accounting; including Stock Obsolescence Provisions, reviewing cycle counts, & liaise w/ Materials/Stores for

month-end close activities

c) Actively participate in month-end close activities

d) Engage with HR payroll for recording of payroll entries and accruals

e) Prepare direct labor hours/cost reports, including labor efficiency report

f) Manage Intercompany receivables/payables

g) Support manager in Monthly Rolling Forecast

h) Design, implement, and maintain financial reports to meet Finance Department reporting requirements

i) Tax accounting – Sales/Use Tax, Federal, & State Tax in collaboration with tax service provider

j) Participate and support year-end and ad hoc audit requirements

k) Support any ad-hoc analysis that may be assigned by Finance Manager and/or Financial Controller

Deliverables

a) Month end close in 3 days, need to ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness

b) Proactively highlight issues that impact company financials, drive and track cost reduction activities

c) Timely delivery of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting needs to management and corporate

What YOU must bring to Succeed:

The Senior Accountant should have minimum of 5 years of experience in similar position, preferably within the aerospace industry. Undergraduate Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business is required. Must be versatile, have good communication skills and have an analytical, inquiring and commercial mind. Must be willing to embrace technology for productivity. The hire is to expect a fast-paced working environment and collaboration with all departments. Experience working in a cross-cultural environment would be considered favorably.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant accounting standards (IFRS & US GAAP)

Analytical mind with business acumen

Good communication and interpersonal skills and a team player

Excel (Advanced), SAP, Hyperion, Office 365, Word and Powerpoint (Advanced)
