ST Engineering Aerospace is located at Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. What YOU will do: 

The Technical Training Instructor will help plan, conduct, and administer programs that train employees and improve their skills and knowledge. He/she will organize or deliver training sessions using lectures, group discussions, team exercises, hands-on examples, and other formats. The Training Instructor works to ensure that every maintenance activity personifies ST Engineering’s vision and mission statement.

 

In This Role YOU will: 

  • Conduct classroom and/or practical training for trainees receiving core or specialty training courses using a variety of instructional techniques.
  • Develop and prepare training materials that support training delivery to meet the companies’ needs in accordance with the applicable curriculum.
  • Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend additional training, if required.
  • Complete accurate training records specific to each client, aiding their success in achieving the requested objective(s).
  • Assist in the evaluation of training programs
  • Maintain Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proctor/supervise training and classroom activities.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor, Technical Training and Manager, Technical Training and Library/Records Department.

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 

The ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, by presenting ideas and giving instructions/guidance to subordinates, co-workers, and outside agencies in a manner that instructions are carried out and requested information is obtained.  Job applicant must possess computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Convergence LMS.  Ability to put together training plans, presentations, talking papers, etc.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Climate controlled office / classroom environment, to include hangar/ flightline but not limited to these environments.

 

SUPERVISION:

Performs duty assignment at his or her discretion and is limited only by policies set by administrative or regulatory authority.  Total end results determine the effectiveness of job performance.

 

INTERPERSONAL ENVIORMENT:

 A strong level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship among employees, various departments, management and the public. Must be able to cope with stress due to the pressures of accomplishing set goals, meeting short deadlines, and maintaining numerous projects simultaneously.



What YOU Need:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field, Military, or equivalent in training, education and/or experience.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required.
  • 5 years Aviation Maintenance related experience
  • 4 years technical training and course development, either military or civilian.
  • Technical writing and computer experience is a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus
