This position will require financial subject matter knowledge, significant problem-solving skills, an ability to meet strict calendar-based deadlines, and a dedicated commitment for continual process improvement.  As the FP&A, you will extracts, analyze, and organize data to support the financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting requirements of the business.

 

What YOU will do

  • Responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis processes with analytical insight into results and the various business planning cycles.  
  • Required to provide periodic analysis of financial performance and to provide modeling support to create all business forecasts (5-year plan, 3Q Update, and Op Plan).  
  • Coordinate with other finance team members to understand and predict upcoming financial impacts (Opportunities & Risks).
  • Participate in parent company’s monthly reporting activities for all areas of responsibility.  
  • Drive simplification and automation initiatives to improve overall financial group effectiveness.  
  • Summarize and communicate analytical findings to senior management as deemed material.

 

What YOU must bring to Succeed

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Finance, engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. MBA or advanced degree is a plus related analytical field.  Minimum of 5 years of related financial experience in a business discipline with demonstrated skills in problem-solving and modeling analytics.  Must possess advanced skills with Microsoft Excel. Must be available to support the strict work schedule requirements for the business entity’s calendar-based month end closing activities.

Estimate salary range for this role: $88,200 to $129,000 per year.  ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
