Who YOU are and what YOU can become: As the HR Business Partner (HRBP), you are responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. The HRBP also manages and supports HRIS processes, ensuring accurate data integrity, system configuration, and alignment with organizational workflows and reporting needs.

What YOU will do:

• Manages technical projects of varying scales across various business lines to ensure that project is on-time, within budget and fully delivers expected value to the business.

• Provides integration and development support for applications across the enterprise which integrates into HRIS and existing HR Technology infrastructure.

• Creates, maintains, and manages business processes, organizational structures, role assignments, application configuration and user account security in the HRIS

• Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.

• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

• Collaboratively develops scalable solutions to meet business requirements around HR systems/processes including cross-functional teams in finance, internal audit, talent acquisition, compensation & benefit

• Assist in the analyses to provide insights about the effectiveness of people management practices including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, retention, turnover, talent management, mobility, career progression, diversity, etc

• Provides day-to-day performance management guide to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

• Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.

• Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.

• Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

• Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

• Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

 

What YOU must bring to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree with Minimum of 10 Year of Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and HRIS, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws is required

• Within the years of experience listed above the candidate must have at least 3-5 years in HRIS, preferred in SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or Oracle. 

• Demonstrated ability to work independently to provide solutions and consultation for stakeholders

• Demonstrated technical skills - proficient in all MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SQL, XML and other reporting languages preferred. WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time.

• Master’s degree preferred.

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

Estimate salary range for this role: $110,000 to $140,000 per year. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
