A pioneer in the production and assembly of complex aerostructures including aircraft and rocket components, engine nacelle systems, thrust reversers and advanced composite products, we apply the latest digital technologies and automation in composite design and manufacturing that are second to none.  At ST Engineering MRAS, we are also rapidly augmenting our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities leveraging the company’s expanded aircraft nacelle portfolio as well as it’s materials and processing expertise.

 

 

What YOU will do

Inspecting nacelles, thrust reversers, and other structural components throughout the repair process—receiving, in process, and final.

• Reviewing work orders, repair data, and documentation to make sure everything lines up with FAA, OEM, and customer requirements.

• Using calibrated tools and inspection equipment to verify repairs and measurements.

• Flagging any nonconformities and helping drive corrective actions.

• Working closely with technicians, engineering, and leadership to resolve issues and keep work moving safely and efficiently.

• Supporting audits, recordkeeping, and overall quality compliance within our Part 145 Repair Station.

• Assisting with teaching Quality standards in an evolving and growing atmosphere.

 

 

What YOU must bring to Succeed

Highschool with at least 3 years of hands-on aircraft structures experience—composites, metallic repairs, damage assessment, and reading structural repair manuals. A&P License is highly preferred. 

• Candidate must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, SRMs, and OEM repair data

• Experience with large fix wing aircraft nacelle and thrust reverser products from major OEMs is perferred 

 

 

Desired Characteristics

• Solid communication skills and a detail oriented mindset.

• Strong understanding of FAA Part 145 requirements and quality systems.

• Previous experience as a MRO Repair Station or Quality Inspector

Estimate salary range for this role: $63,600 to $93,000 per year. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
