What YOU will do:
· Perform disassembly, cleaning and exchange of perishable components. Interface between operations, Automation Engineering and skilled trades. Documenting trends and allowing the operators to focus on quality and process completion.
· Assist with the tracking equipment and component trends. This data and feedback will be used to establish component service life, useful life, durability, and longevity. This feedback will be provided to the automation and equipment engineers allowing TPM initiatives to progress quickly.
· Work in a team environment supporting the Operators, Maintenance, Engineering, and area leadership team by providing clear communication on equipment status.
· Ability to follow a pre-determined cleaning and replacement schedule for perishable parts.
· Provide a level of Mechanical aptitude that assures the critical components are dis-assembled and re-assembled consistent with OEM requirements.
· Provide feedback concerning automation equipment issues that allows Mechanical and Electrical Controls (MEC) and Machine Repair (MR) teams to correct electrical and mechanical issues that are above routine preventive maintenance.
· Hands on experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic assembly systems, or experience that will allow employee to be trained to support cleaning and replacement of perishable components.
· Basic understanding of PLC’s, vision systems. Electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, Numerical Control Machines, and robotic production equipment is desirable but not required.
What YOU must bring to Succeed:
Candidate must have a H.S. Diploma and (2) year of Hands-on experience with Maintaining, cleaning, and assembly of mechanical, pneumatic, and Electrical controlled components for Automation or Numerical Control equipment. Understanding of assembly tolerance stack-ups. Work schedule will be discussed during application process.
Desired Characteristics
· Experience with troubleshooting AFP process issues.
· Highly values team success and communication.
· 3+ years’ experience in a support role for preventive maintenance of equipment used in Aerospace Assembly and or Composites Manufacturing.
· Desire to learn and pursue training opportunities that strengthen CNC capabilities and increase critical trouble shooting skills.

Estimate salary range for this role: $25.14 - $36.53 per hour. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
