We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to oversee all aspects of production planning for a designated program. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations, timely deliveries, and strong cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of Production Planning for designated programs.
Please note: This position maybe filled as a Lead Production Planner or Production Planner depending on the candidates work experience and business need. The requirements and salary below reflect the Production Planner level.

At ST Engineering MRAS, we are also rapidly augmenting our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities leveraging the company’s expanded aircraft nacelle portfolio as well as it’s materials and processing expertise.
What YOU will do
- Plan, schedule, release, and close work orders and purchase requisitions
- Identify and resolve production issues to maintain workflow and meet customer delivery timelines
- Collaborate with teams across Production, Sourcing, Quality, Programs, and Engineering
- Participate in program reviews and engineering change board meetings
- Track and expedite critical components to ensure on-time delivery
- Support annual physical inventory and assess excess or obsolete materials
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems and generate planning reports as needed
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning and inventory control
- Support new product launches and engineering changes by integrating them into production plans
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align production goals with business objectives
- Supports S&OE conversation to proactively reconcile short-term demand and supply, escalate and resolve cross-functional constraints, and take on additional process improvement initiative to drive operational excellence and personal growth.
What YOU must bring to Succeed
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment in demand planning or inventory management
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; familiarity with digital tools is a bonus
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered
- APICS certification (CPIM) strongly preferred
- Analytical problem-solver with a proactive mindset
- Able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator—both written and verbal
- Self-starter who thrives independently and in team settings
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment

Estimate salary range for this role: $63,500 to $93,000 per year. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
