You will be working in a fast-paced environment in the Commercial Aerospace industry. We are looking for motivated, technically capable individuals who have the desire to work with aircraft tooling. You will work with a technical measurement team and organize a schedule to calibrate and ensure the tooling is in specification. Strong organizational skills are required to ensure everything can be properly traced.

What YOU will do

 

  • Track calibration expiry dates on tooling equipment 
  • Schedule tooling calibration efforts 
  • Investigate new technology to replace aging systems 
  • Perform calibrations on both large industrial and small handheld equipment 
  • Packaging and shipment of systems 
  • Logging equipment information 

 

 

What YOU bring to Succeed

 

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field with 5+ years working in a field where technical documentation and CAD operations were main duties. 
  • CAD Skills: Familiarity in technical CAD programs such as CATIA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PolyWorks. 
  • Technical writing skills
  • This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. A ‘U.S. Person,’ as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62, includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization. If hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status.

 

 

Desired Characteristics

 

  • Measurement Technology / Laser Scanning: Familiarity with 3D measurement equipment and data processing, such as FARO Arms and Laser Trackers. 
  • Read Technical Drawings: Can read engineering drawings with familiarity of Tolerances, GD&T, and Datum structures. 
  • Organizational Skills: Tracking using spreadsheet software and communication through collaborative software. 
  • Communication Skills: Must interact with different manufacturing groups and provide technical and scheduling information.

Estimate salary range for this role: $63,500 to $93,000 per year. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
