Who YOU are and what YOU can become:

ST Engineering is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Sustainability Coordinator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role will support the development and execution of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives at ST Engineering. As an entry-level position, you will be trained and mentored to assist with the collection and analysis of ESG data, contribute to sustainability projects, and help ensure the company’s compliance with sustainability goals. You will report to both North American and global sustainability teams to align with corporate strategies.

 

 

What YOU will do:

  • Data Collection & Reporting: Assist in gathering and organizing ESG data related to energy usage, waste, emissions, and supply chain sustainability. Support the creation of internal and external reports, ensuring accurate data is collected for analysis and reporting to corporate teams.
  • Sustainability Projects: Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives, such as tracking energy usage and waste reduction projects. Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and help coordinate project logistics.
  • Communication Support: Collaborate with internal teams to help prepare sustainability communications, including presentations, reports, and updates for both internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Tracking: Assist in tracking environmental regulations and ESG-related requirements relevant to aerospace manufacturing. Support efforts to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and local environmental laws.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the ESG team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records of sustainability projects, and helping to manage sustainability-related documentation and filing systems.
  • Learning & Development: Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge of sustainability practices in aerospace manufacturing and ESG reporting frameworks.
  • Flexible Schedule Support: Due to the global nature of our business, the role may require occasional flexibility in work hours to support collaboration with international teams across different time zones.

 

 

What YOU must bring to Succeed:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data collection and reporting tools.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to assist in preparing clear and concise sustainability reports and presentations.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Team Player: Comfortable working in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues across various departments to support sustainability initiatives.

 

 

Desired Characteristics:

  • Certifications: ISO 14001 + 45001 experience, or other sustainability-related certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or a related field. This is an entry-level position, so relevant internships or academic experience will be considered.

Estimate salary range for this role: $52,300  to  $65,300 per year. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
