In conjunction with other departments, partners or suppliers; you will lead MRAS efforts to monitor, process and report on warranty claims and costs against MRAS products. Ensure business unit actions are being taken to maximize recovery from appropriate suppliers. Develop and guide warranty recovery processes to ensure highest recovery rate of all warrantable repairs. Track cost reduction Improvements as solutions are designed and implemented.

At ST Engineering MRAS, we are also rapidly augmenting our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities leveraging the company’s expanded aircraft nacelle portfolio as well as it’s materials and processing expertise.
What YOU will do:
- Adjudicate warranty cases based on established criteria and be able to identify customer induced damage versus product defects.
- Analyze product warranty operational data, failure reports, warranty claims, and associated sales activities as needed to identify developing trends where corrective actions may be needed.
- Develop standard department databases and reporting dashboards to provide appropriate visibility to warranty issues affecting MRAS products and expected costs as solutions are implemented.
- Maintain a “Top-10” issues type of tracker for assigned product lines.
- Work across the enterprise (programs, finance, engineering sourcing etc.) to monitor and report on status of corrective action plans and associated financial recovery efforts from appropriate suppliers.
- Track progress on product improvement campaigns and associated costs.
- Monitor and report on warranty claim monthly metric reports. Maintain historical data.
- Collaborate with Program Managers and Buyers to identify warrantable repairs and improve warranty coverage processes and policies as needed to achieve business objectives.
- Support status briefs for senior management
- Work on special issues, projects/presentations.
What YOU must bring to Succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of warranty analysis or related field experience or HS Diploma with 8-10 years of warranty analysis or related field
Desired Characteristics
- Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to take leadership role in projects and attain results with minimal guidance.
- Knowledge of business processes. Experience with, SAP or similar system is desired.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and teleconferences
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives.
- Ability to handle and resolve multiple event problems and open to changing processes and goals

Estimate salary range for this role: $88,200 to $129,000 per year and will include a shift differential. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
