As a Continuous Improvement Intern – AI Automation, you will support the Continuous Improvement team by designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency. You will apply your hands-on experience with AI agents and automation tools to real-world operational environments, transforming improvement opportunities into practical AI-driven solutions.

What YOU will do:

As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will contribute to process improvement initiatives by applying AI automation techniques and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

In This Role, You Will:

- Identify and implement AI-driven automation opportunities within CI projects.

- Design, build, and refine AI agents using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, or similar platforms.

- Develop workflow automations using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.

- Analyze current-state processes and define AI-enabled future-state solutions.

- Integrate AI agents with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive.

- Conduct testing, validation, and performance tuning of AI agents and automated workflows.

- Document AI agent logic, workflows, prompts, and usage guidelines.

- Assist with change management activities and user enablement.

- Ensure AI solutions meet governance, security, and compliance standards.

- Evaluate the business application ecosystem and recommend improvements using AI tools.

What YOU need:

- High school diploma or GED required; currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field preferred.

- Hands-on experience creating AI agents or automation solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot or Copilot Studio.

- Understanding of workflow automation concepts.

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive).

- Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate (preferred).

- Analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in an office environment.
