Summary: 

As the inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our aircraft's optimal performance and reliability, responsible for the initial inspection and surveillance of commercial-type aircraft undergoing maintenance and repair.  You'll work with a dynamic team of skilled inspectors overseeing the inspection of commercial-type aircraft while maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the effectiveness and reliability of our customers' Aircraft while remaining in compliance with all FAA policies and regulations.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Comply with initial inspection of commercial type aircraft using customer provide work instructions.
2. Inspect and accept or reject all required inspection items and non-routine work accomplished on commercial type aircraft.
3. Inspect aircraft and components utilizing special tooling and equipment.  
4. Perform weight and balance functions on commercial type aircraft and complete calculations.
5. Audit aircraft maintenance work packages.
6. Inspect and report findings on facility inspections.
7. Maintain work performed on O.J.T. forms for the training department.

Job Qualifications:

Experience:

• Five (5) years minimum experience in heavy commercial and or military maintenance and/or six months skill level 3 mechanic.
• Minimum two (2) years inspection experience
• Recorded training on at least three (3) type aircraft. GENERAL FAMILIARIZATION TRAINING (Preferred): MD-11, B737NG, A320, B747, B777 or B787.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification required
