What YOU will do:
As the Interiors Maintenance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our Interiors Mechanics. You'll lead a dynamic team of skilled technicians and specialists, overseeing the maintenance task management of assigned Mechanics while maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment. Your leadership and technical expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the effectiveness and reliability of our customers' Aircraft while remaining in compliance with all FAA policies and regulations.
- Assisted the supervisor of Upholstery, Paint, and Interiors, including writing crew assignment sheets and issuing and prioritizing assignments daily, providing problem resolution and advising, instructing, training, and offering expertise on all tasks as needed.
- Oversees the research of maintenance manuals and blueprints for proper sequential removal and installation procedures of each aircraft interior part.
- Oversees the removal of damaged aircraft interior parts requiring replacement, including panels, to allow mechanics and inspectors access to various aircraft areas to perform their job duties.
- Oversees the repairs, re-covers, or fabrication of new seats, panels, and carpeting for installation as needed.
- Communicates with other functional departments and their management personnel for parts procurement and scheduling purposes.
- Assisted in opening and tracking work orders for non-routines to ensure employees stayed within budget and on schedule and logged completion of each job.
- Assists in supervising the installation of new and/or repaired interior parts, including panels, seats, carpeting, tiles, and galley cabinets, as required.
What YOU must bring to Succeed:
- High school diploma or GED required. FAA Airframe Certification required.
- One (1) year minimum experience in transport aircraft category
- One (1) year supervisory experience
- Ability to work overtime as needed
