What YOU will do: 

As the Structures Maintenance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our Structures Mechanics. You'll lead a dynamic team of skilled technicians and specialists, overseeing the maintenance task management of assigned Mechanics while maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment. Your leadership and technical expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the effectiveness and reliability of our customers' Aircraft while remaining in compliance with all FAA policies and regulations.

 

  • Prioritize daily work requirements according to schedule and manpower availability.  Assign tasks to qualified mechanics and technicians according to work scope requirements, ensuring that all technical instructions, blueprints, specifications, etc., are clearly understood.
  • Provide technical assistance to Mechanics and Technicians on specific task assignments as necessary to ensure all maintenance is performed correctly, resulting in a high-quality, airworthy product.
  • Indoctrinate new personnel in observing applicable safety precautions and quality of workmanship standards relevant to the functions for which they may be utilized.  Reinforce the highest standards of safety and quality workmanship from all departmental personnel.
  • Monitor the progress of daily tasks to ensure the program remains on schedule and detect any problems—document details of tasks that were scheduled and assigned but could not be completed.
  • Work with core team members to discuss workflow, identify areas of concern, and assist the Supervisor in formulating strategies to resolve problems that threaten to impact the aircraft schedule.
  • Work with the Supervisor to ensure that all maintenance is performed correctly and recorded using the proper form and manner, consistent with all applicable company, customer, and FAA requirements.

 

What YOU must bring to Succeed:

  • High school diploma or GED required.  FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification is required.
  • Three (3) years minimum experience in heavy commercial maintenance.
  • Three (3) year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
