Job summary:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Auditor works under the supervision of the Lead QA Auditor within the Quality Assurance Department, providing additional oversight to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements. The QA Auditor performs audits, investigations, and surveillance, along with other duties assigned by the QA Manager.

The QA Auditor is responsible for the production and editing of reports, records, and presentations for both internal and external review.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

1- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with corporate, customer and regulatory requirements.

2- Perform surveillance of customer programs.

3- Document non-conformities identified while conducting inspections.

4- Perform a critical analysis of non-conformities, determining the root cause of the infraction as well as suggesting corrective actions.

5- Perform follow-up surveillance to determine the effectiveness of corrective actions taken.

6- Perform a periodic review of prior non-conformities and identify areas for growth and improvement.

7- Assist other departments in the training of production personnel to improve adherence to company procedures and customer programs.

8- Perform comprehensive investigations of accidents and incidents.

9- Maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with customers and vendors.

 

Job Specifications:

Good working knowledge and experience of the following:

• Ability to communicate effectively with management, production personnel and regulatory agencies.

• Possess technical aptitude, professionalism, and accept accountability.

• Basic computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Experience:

Previous Quality Assurance audit training and Aviation experience required.

AS9110/9100 certificaion is preferred.

 

Education:

High School Diploma/ GED 

2+ years of college 

FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate preferred, but not required.
