What YOU will do:  

As a FI/CO Analyst you would be expected to provide FI/CO support to the Aerospace Business Units which are utilizing SAP.  Need to be comfortable with end user interaction and in supporting those sites which are still on ECC  as well as the S/4 Business Unit.  In addition, you will need to know how to create Functional Design Spec’s, perform 1on1 training, lead user testing of enhancement requests, and provide day to day support.  The following is a brief listing of skills and other responsibilities that will make you successful in this position.  

  • Experience in Accounting Journals, Allocations, Consolidations and Inter-company Processing. 
  • Experience in Period Close, Statistics, and Multicurrency transactions is also desired. 
  • Ability to create comprehensive documentation for implemented ERP solutions, configuration maintenance, and process changes. 
  • Design, set-up, test, and deploy prototype and production ready Finance solutions and ensure that all the pieces work together seamlessly. 
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for future reference and training purposes. 
  • Analyze technical and functional integration requirements between Finance and Supply Chain areas. 
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and GAAP. 
  • An understanding of the integration points between SD Billing and AR. 
  • An understanding of the integration points between Goods receipt and AP including the requirements of 2 and/or 3-way matching. 
  • Work with the project team, team leaders, project delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create stand-out Finance solutions powered by SAP in the Finance and Controlling area. 
  • Be part of a team that delivers enterprise-wide SAP Transformational Solutions. 
  •  Ability to deliver client-facing services to the IT and Finance organizations: Business process Owners, end users, SAP Technical Team and Business Finance Directors Maintain up-to-date documentation for future reference and training purposes. 
  • Understanding of migrating your own transports between environments. 

 

What YOU need to be successful:  

  • 3+ yrs of SAP GL, AP / AR and CO functional experience preferably in manufacturing industries. 
  • Must have at least 1 full lifecycle implementation experience (preferably S/4HANA) 
  • Bachelor's degree accounting, finance, business management or related field required; a combination of education and experience may also be considered.  Advanced degree a plus.  
  • Experience with SAP S/4 Hana Fiori Tiles.  
  • Experience working on projects using SAP’s ASAP or Activate methodology and there by gained experience in understanding requirements, project planning, and the importance of end-to-end solutions. 
  • Experience implementing and supporting multiple facilities in a dispersed geographical area. 
  • Competent in maintaining End User documentation. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.  
  • Strong software knowledge and foundation.  

 

Additional Qualifications – (Nice to Have):  

  • Must have good cross functional knowledge in FI/CO modules. 
  • Knowledge of Asset Management (AM) and Project Systems (PS) 
  • Ability to lead requirements and design sessions. 
  • Additional finance areas of knowledge and experience: Treasury, Tax, Consolidation, Cross-company reporting, etc. 
  • Active CPA license.
