Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join our team at various locations across Pensacola, Florida; Mobile, Alabama; and San Antonio, Texas. This role is ideal for transitioning service members who possess technical skills and a strong work ethic, along with a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Remove and replace various aircraft components using special tooling and ground support equipment, following supervisor’s directives and manuals.
- Complete routine and non-routine maintenance and repair assignments efficiently and according to established procedures.
- Maintain personal tools in serviceable condition and ensure a clean work area.
- Adhere to safe maintenance practices and comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and communicate effectively with technical training teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Crew Chief.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active transitioning member of the US Armed Services (completion between July 2024 and June 2025).
- Ability to pass FAA drug and alcohol screening and background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Mobility around various sections of aircraft.
- Dexterity to remove and replace parts efficiently.
- Mental agility to handle stress and long working hours.
- Capacity to learn and adhere to safety protocols.
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
