What YOU will do: 

As a Recruiter in the Aviation Repair Industry, your primary responsibility will be to identify, attract, and hire top talent to support the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations within the aviation sector. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a skilled workforce to ensure the efficient and safe functioning of aircraft.

 

In This Role, You Will:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract skilled professionals in areas such as aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, and other specialized roles within the aviation repair industry.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events, to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments to ensure alignment with job requirements and organizational culture.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders to proactively identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and priorities, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of position requirements.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings through interviews, assessments, and reference checks to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Assess candidates' understanding of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including relevant aviation certifications and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless hiring process and effective onboarding of new hires.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates and internal stakeholders to provide updates on the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, recruitment metrics, and other relevant data.
  • Use data insights to continuously improve recruitment strategies and optimize the hiring process.

 

What YOU need:

  • 2 years’ experience in full life cycle recruiting. 
  • Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in place of preferred education.
  • Strong communication skills to engage and inspire potential candidates.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet hiring metrics.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
