Who WE are and where WE are going:
ST Engineering Aerospace is located in Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. We meet our customers' requirements by providing a full spectrum of high-quality, reliable, and timely AMM and engineering solutions. We have the know-how and experience to comprehensively manage complex projects, ensuring our customers' aircraft operate safely and efficiently.
What YOU will do:
Depending on which of the four apprenticeships you are selected for you will be responsible for either electrical, mechanical, structural, or interior maintenance and repair on Commercial Aircraft types.

In applying for this role, if selected you will be assigned to one of our four apprenticeship programs listed below:
Structures Apprenticeship:
A Structures Apprentice will assist and receive training from experienced Structures Mechanics with the inspection, maintenance, repair, and fabrication of aircraft structural components while developing foundational sheet metal and aircraft structures skills. The apprentice will learn to read and work from basic blueprints, Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), engineering instructions, and other approved maintenance documentation under appropriate supervision. Responsibilities may include measuring, drilling, riveting, removing and installing aircraft components, assisting with structural repairs, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The apprentice will also learn proper use of hand tools, shop equipment, safety procedures, aircraft maintenance practices, and company documentation and sign-off requirements while progressing toward performing more advanced structural tasks independently. Classroom and Hands on training will be provided with this program.
APG Apprenticeship:
An APG Apprentice will assist and receive training from experienced APG Mechanics with the routine maintenance, servicing, inspection, and general mechanical support of commercial aircraft while developing foundational aircraft maintenance skills. The apprentice will learn and perform basic tasks such as aircraft lubrication, servicing, component removal and installation, access panel opening and closing, aircraft cleaning, and assisting with towing, marshalling, and ground support equipment operations under appropriate supervision. The apprentice will become familiar with aircraft systems, cockpit and component locations, basic rigging and adjustment procedures, safety practices, and hazards associated with aircraft maintenance and flight control operations. The apprentice will also learn to properly use tools and equipment, follow maintenance manuals and company procedures, complete required paperwork, and safely perform assigned tasks while progressing toward greater independence and responsibility. Classroom and Hands on training will be provided with this program.
Avionics Apprenticeship:
An Avionics Apprentice will assist and receive training from an experienced Avionics Mechanics with the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of aircraft electrical and avionics systems while developing foundational skills and knowledge. The apprentice will learn to safely use hand tools, test equipment, special tooling, and ground support equipment while performing basic tasks under appropriate supervision and following approved instructions and aircraft maintenance manuals. The apprentice will become familiar with wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, aircraft systems, bonding and grounding practices, and basic operational checks. The apprentice will also learn proper documentation and maintenance procedures, including the use of job cards, routine and non-routine cards, and applicable aircraft manuals, while maintaining a clean and safe work area and progressing toward greater independence in performing avionics maintenance tasks. Classroom and Hands on training will be provided with this program.
Interiors Apprenticeship:
An Interiors Apprentice will assist and receive training from an experienced Interiors Mechanics with the inspection, maintenance, repair, removal, and installation of aircraft interior components while developing foundational aircraft interiors skills. The apprentice will learn to safely use hand tools and equipment while assisting with tasks such as removing and installing seats, lavatories, galleys, closets, passenger service units, carpets, and other interior components under appropriate supervision. The apprentice will become familiar with aircraft interior layouts, blueprints, maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and basic inspection and operational procedures while learning to perform tasks in accordance with approved maintenance documentation. The apprentice will also learn proper aircraft maintenance practices, safety procedures, paperwork and work-card requirements, and company policies while maintaining a clean work area and progressing toward performing interior maintenance tasks with greater independence. Classroom and Hands on training will be provided with this program

INTERPERSONAL ENVIORNMENT:
A moderate level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship with co-workers and supervision.
PHYSICAL ENVIORNMENT:
Requires easy mobility around various sections of aircraft and the dexterity to remove, rectify and replace systems or components in a timely manner. Requires mental skills and quickness with the ability to cope with stress and intense effort or exertion usually caused by long working hours. Must have the capacity to gain knowledge by hearing for one’s own safety due to the dangers involved. Must possess the ability to distinguish colors to perform work adequately. Working environment requires standing 90% of the workday on hard surfaces. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and report to work regularly.
What YOU Need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Relevant aircraft experience is preferred but must have mechanical or electrical aptitude to selected for this role
