Who WE are and where WE are going:
ST Engineering Aerospace is located in Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. We meet our customers' requirements by providing a full spectrum of high-quality, reliable, and timely AMM and engineering solutions. We have the know-how and experience to comprehensively manage complex projects, ensuring our customers' aircraft operate safely and efficiently.
What YOU will do:
Responsible for the administration and development of one or more of the following personnel functions: employee relations, action, EEO, diversity, personnel policies and procedures, human resources database system (SAP), managing temporary workforce, orientation programs and other employee programs.
In This Role YOU will:
- Serves as FMLA administrator to include leave management
- Administers FAA/DOT Alcohol and Drug program.
- Assist assigned departments with career path, organizational development and trade progression activities.
- Creates, designs, coordinates, implements and evaluates new programs, activities, policies, etc. to enhance the overall effectiveness of the organization’s employee relations and communications. Writes and delivers presentations to executive management concerning new programs, new policies and/or changes for approval
- Writes company handbooks, policies and procedures, and various employee communications.
- May serve on EEO Council in investigating complaints for company
- Create and implement special projects as needed for the organization and/or requested by managers for special segments.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Good working knowledge/skills in the following: Strong and effective written verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, ability to adapt quickly to new software and computer applications; proficient writing and presentation skills; proficient skills in organizing, analyzing and problem solving; proficient communication skills; strong interpersonal skills along with negotiating and persuasive skills; ability to maintain confidentiality of all Human Resources data and information. Ability to work with managers, supervisors, and leads on coaching and employee professional development issues.

The incumbent normally performs the duty assignment at his or her discretion and is limited only by policies set by administrative or legislative authority. Total end results determine effectiveness of job performance.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
Essential responsibilities are performed in a climate-controlled office but not limited to the office. Must be able to cope with stress and mental exhaustion due to pressures of accomplishing set goals, meeting short deadlines, maintaining numerous projects simultaneously, employee confrontations and long work hours.
What YOU Need:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SHRM or HRCI Certification (Preferred)
- 3 or more years of experience in Human Resources
