What YOU will do:
Responsible for the effective implementation and ongoing maintenance of the LMS and all supporting tools, content, and technologies, roles, users, security, internal system notifications and other instructional technology user accounts
In This Role YOU will:
- Creates and executes a long-tern plan for learning management system growth and improvement.
- Manages the testing and evaluation of new features and tools that integrate with LMS by facilitating and managing vendor vetting and training.
- Creates systems and workflows to ensure that all course resources are properly set up and available.
- Tracks usage of tools and the LMS features to provide reports on trends, creates, and executes a plan to address those issues and trends.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for users regarding logging in to the LMS and accessing courses.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to system functionality.
- Reviews and monitors employee performance
- Creating LMS training profiles for new employees
- Update current employees LMS training records
- Create and import new training models to LMS
- Maintain LMS courses for compliances
- Maintain customer requirements in LMS
- Be point person for new LMS training programs
- Create new LMS training modules as needed
- Provide training to new users on how to properly use and navigate LMS
- Provide newly promoted leads, supervisors, and managers on how to use LMS in their day-to-day personnel management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Good working knowledge and ability in the following:
The ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, by presenting ideas and giving instructions/guidance to subordinates, co-workers, and outside agencies in a manner that instructions are carried out and requested information is obtained. Job applicant must possess a high level of computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Convergence LMS. Ability to put together training plans, presentations, talking papers, etc.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Climate controlled office / classroom environment but not limited to this environment.
SUPERVISION:
Under general direction. Performs assignment after receiving general instructions as to methods, procedures, and desired end results. Some opportunity for discretion when making selections among a few, easily identifiable choices. Assignment usually reviewed upon completion
INTERPERSONAL ENVIORNMENT:
A strong level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship among employees, various departments, management and the public.
PHYSICAL ENVIORNMENT:
Essential responsibilities are performed in a climate-controlled office but not limited to the office. Must be able to cope with stress due to the pressures of accomplishing set goals, meeting short deadlines, maintaining numerous projects simultaneously, employee confrontations and long work hours.
What YOU Need:
- Associate degree or equivalent in training, education and/or experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in related field with 1-year supervisory experience.
