What YOU will do: 

The Regional Cybersecurity Analyst reports directly to the STENA Group Chief Information Security Officer (GCISO) in Singapore HQ and will be the primary lead on cybersecurity implementation procedures.   This position serves as the key cybersecurity contact between the company and its parent and subsidiary companies, in North America and will implement threat prevention, lead incident responses including detection, assess scope of incident(s), containment, eradication, recovery, restore normal business operations and review response procedures and actions for future improvement.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee regional Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) and carry out monitoring of systems for security anomalies and detection of breaches.
  • Ensure vendors provide a quality service conforming to standards set in contractual agreements.
  • Monitor and report on regional security operational status, deliverables & risk management to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished on time and in accordance with the security operations best practices.
  • Direct the implementation of cybersecurity incident response and work directly with HQ and various stakeholders in resolving the incidents.
  • Closely align with corporate and both domestic and international business units to address patch management and implement vulnerability mitigation measures when needed.
  • Partner with corporate and all domestic and international business units to align the cybersecurity policies and procedures.

 

  • Implement cybersecurity awareness training for employees and contractors.
  • Implement a cybersecurity incident management plan by conducting exercises including (tabletop exercises simulating phishing, ransomware attacks, malware, etc)
  • Plan & conduct security reviews on all new systems before deployment.  
  • Attend two stakeholder meetings weekly with international headquarters and regional north American offices.

 

 

 

 

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Degree in Information Security or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in North American cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience working with multiple locations and/or subsidiaries.
  • Three years minimum experience in implementing cybersecurity and risk management to address threats, vulnerabilities, and security policies.
  • Understanding of laws and practices relating to cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge in network, web security and applications such as Tenable, Qualys or others.
  • Knowledge and experience with incident response according to NIST or similar response handling processes.
  • Complete understanding of infrastructure components, preference with security components.
  • Experience with networking, system administration and infrastructure architecture.
  • Experience with information security tools (SIEM, anti-virus tools etc).
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership qualities & ability to work under pressure.

 

Preferred :

  • CISSP/SSCP certification.
